Meeting stuff...
I was questioned at the start of the meeting about why I have a video camera here to tape the meeting. Councilmen Hammock and Washington didn't seem to care for the idea. I had to read the section of the Open Meetings Act just to prove to them I had the right to do it. More to come...

I am amazed that you had the stamina for this stuff. And what about having to prove at an open meeting that you have the right to tape and record. They should be very afraid that the citizens will actually do something about what is taking place instead of continually voting without investigating what is taking place. It looks like the meetings are to berate and condemn instead of actually doing the City's business. Yes, we that use the Bazemore Hwy daily have seen the construction for the turn lanes next to the Bog-oops-the Sports Complex. You might need a boat instead of an access road to get to it though. Way to go! Love the live blog.
